Intermittently and depending on the quality of submissions, Romance City will publish an original work of poetry that tantalizes the mind or a true love story that tugs at the heart. Original entries only and please do not submit copyrighted material; however, your submission does not have to be new. To verify authenticity, we will publish your first name, last initial and the city you live in. If you are from a small town where your initials might be recognized, we will simply publish the state to protect your identify. All other identifying information will be kept confidential unless you desire otherwise, in which case and at your request, we will give you the full recognition you deserve as a passionate writer of prose or poetry.

The winner will win a month's supply of the Passion Fire Aphrodisiac of his or her choice.

Of course, we realize that writers of passion and poetry do not write to win prizes. They write because they need to, because they want to, because they want to share, because they want to express feelings and because sometimes it just makes them feel good or because being published and recognized for the quality of their work is often better than money. For whatever reason writers write, whether for fun or for money, or emotional release or for recognition, the rest of us are enriched in our lives if we take but just a moment to enjoy what we call candy for the soul. And for the true romantic, its much more than just candy, its the essence of life as it should be!
