This has been a relational psychology test. The answers given to the questions have been shown by research psychologists to have a relevance to values and ideals that we hold in our personal lives. There are no real right or wrong answers and you cannot fail the test. However, the Water Test can reveal some important clues about your personality or the personality of the person taking the test.

Answer 1> The person who you are walking with is the most important person in your life. If you are walking with more than one person then you have several people who rank high or you may be unsure as to who is most important.

Answer 2> The size of the animal is representative of your perception of the size of your problems and how much stress you are feeling.

Answer 3> The severity of the interaction you have with the animal is representative of how you deal with your problems--if you tend to be more aggressive or more passive in nature. For example, if you kill or beat up the animal, you have an aggressive personality. If you tame, pet, talk to or run from the animal, your tendencies are more passive in nature.

Answer 4> The size of your dream house is representative of the size of your ambition to resolve your problems, become successful, wealthy, important or famous.

Answer 5> No fence is indicative of an open personality. People are welcome at all times. You enjoy meeting new people and making new friends.
The presence of a fence indicates a closed personality. You'd prefer people not to drop by unannounced or approach you and you probably do not enjoy being around people you don't know.

Answer 6> If your answer did not include food, people, or flowers, then you are generally or frequently unhappy.

Answer 7> The durability of the material with which the cup is made of is representative of the perceived durability of your relationship with the person named in answer number 1. For example, Styrofoam, plastic, and paper are all disposable and not strong or long lasting. Metal and plastic are durable and long lasting which is how you feel about your relationship with this person.

Answer 8> What you did with the cup is representative of your attitude towards the person in answer number 1. Do you throw it away, squash it, break it, wash it, leave it alone or store it for later, etc.... you can see how this would relate to your relationship.

The WATER TEST Part......

Answer 9> The size of the body of water is representative of the size of your sexual desire. If you named either a) Atlantic b) Pacific c)Lake Erie d) body of water of similar size...your are one burning with passion, hot to the touch, mama/papa.... If you named "puddle", you might find ranking the importance of sex and root canals to be a challenging question. Anything in-between can be relative to the size of your selection.

10> How wet you get in crossing the water is indicative of the relative importance of your sex life. If you named ocean, lake or river and you jumped right in, waded or swam across, etc., sex is way up there!

In both romantic and superficial relationships, it is useful to remember that we seldom reveal the true nature of our personalities at the beginning of our relationships and those with whom we interact are playing by the same set of rules.

The moral of the Water Test and the game of love is that time is usually your ally. Love, passion and romantic relationships are blinding...and well, lust just makes us crazy! The longer you know a person, the more likely you will see and know the real person inside. Relationships built on lust are hot, addictive and alluring but have no substance for the long term. If that is all there is, the relationship will eventually crumble like a house made of bread-its only good as long as it fresh.

TRUE LOVE means Unconditional acceptance, trust, sharing and caring-a house made of bricks..... and Romance... Romance is the glue and mortar that keeps it all together, fresh and strong!
